Co-Eds Have Naked Shopping Spree
Red Light Clothing Exchange in Portland, OR has an annual naked shopping spree event in which customers race through the store naked putting on as many layers of clothes as possible. The shopping spree lasts three minutes with contestants running through the store putting on as much clothes as possible. The store manager, Erica Easley, stated:
“A lot of people think this is a really weird thing to do…but why not? A lot of people in Portland are game for anything. Plus, it’s a good deal and good cocktail conversation. Really, no one can beat it.”
There’s actually a drawing to entire the competition and hundreds of contestants submit their names in hopes of being one of the lucky winners. The contestants are announced days before the competition and the winner not only gets to keep the clothes but gets a $100 gift certificate. The competition has been going on for the last six years.
